Doing Law Differently

Creative, adaptive and multifaceted- over the last decade, the Asian Law Bulletin has evolved from print to online and interactive platforms.

Each of these introduces students to workplace skills in presentation and engagement.

Law Students are often seen as competitive, individualistic and uncollaborative. Here students are taught to challenge this stereotype.

A stellar example of the use of interactive digital platforms to stimulate collaboration and team work among law students.

Introducing videos and discussion boards as assessment pieces has led to an incredible expression of creativity and collaboration among law students, whilst having the added benefit of breaking the seminar content into mine and theirs – a shared learning process.

One effective and enjoyable way international students can ‘get their head around’ our adversarial system and the rules that apply in court during a criminal trial is to be part of one and observing one.
